Martinsyde G.100 7481 

  • Bellerby's 7418 after his encounter with Richthofen. Its fairly intact condition reveals the airplane did not impact the terrain in a vertical nosedive. Instead, the collapsed landing gear, wings, and damaged nose and rudder suggest Bellerby managed a hard landing that led to a nose-over inversion. The airplane is shown here after righting.
