A well known picture of the Richthofen brothers with a Fokker Dr.I behind them. The first batch of operational Fokker Dr.Is arrived at JG I around 20 October 1917 and Lothar was wounded and put out of action the following 13 March 1918. This photo therefore originated betwee those dates and probably at Avesnes-Le-Sec airfield that the unit occupied from 25 November 1917 through 20 March 1918.
