Brief van Hartha Gerstenberg, echtgenote van Alfred Gerstenberg aan Albert Flipts: In 1912 trad hij in dienst bij het 1ste Uhlanenregiment te Militsch in Silezi\u00eb. Het was bij dit regiment dat hem gevraagd werd met Manfred von Richthofen te vliegen. Gedurende 1915-1916 vloog hij samen met de Rode Baron als zijn waarnemer.
