FE tweezitter werd vernield, nummer etc. niet herkenbaar.<\/p>\n<p>Om 1615 vielen vijf vliegtuigen van onze Staffel vijandelijk squadron ten zuiden van Arras aan. De vijand naderde onze linies, maar werd teruggeworpen. Na wat gevechten slaagde ik erin een zeer moedig gevlogen Vickers tweezitter aan te vallen. Na 300 schoten begon het vijandelijke toestel ongecontroleerd te vallen. Ik vervolgde het plan tot 1.000 meter boven de grond. Vijandelijk vliegtuig stortte aan vijandelijke kant op de grond, een kilometer achter loopgraven bij Ficheux. (mogelijk) Capt. JB Quested (WIA); Lt. HJH Dicksee (ongedeerd) (Sommige bronnen beweren dat dit Sgt. James McCudden van No.29 Squadron was, in een DH.2.) Quested\/Dicksee werden neergehaald om 11.20 uur, 12 km ten oosten van Ficheux (waarschijnlijk tegen Jasta 1) &#8211; binnen de geallieerde linies. Richthofen claimde zijn treffer om 16.25 uur [2] McCudden, die terugkeerde naar de basis, klopt met de periode.
