Inzittenden dood, vliegtuig vernield, \u00e9\u00e9n machinegeweer meegenomen, waardevolle spullen ingesloten.<\/p>\n<p>Rond 1345 viel ik, met vier vliegtuigen van onze Staffel, op 3.000 meter hoogte, vijandelijk squadron boven Moreuil aan. Het Engelse squadron was tot dan toe niet aangevallen door Duitsers en vloog enigszins apart. Ik had daarom de gelegenheid om de laatste machine aan te vallen. Ik was de voorste van onze eigen mensen en andere Duitse vliegtuigen waren niet te zien. Al na de eerste aanval begon de vijandelijke motor te roken; de waarnemer was gewond geraakt. Het vliegtuig ging in grote bochten naar beneden, ik volgde en vuurde van dichtbij. Ik had ook de piloot gedood, zoals later werd vastgesteld. Uiteindelijk stortte het vliegtuig neer op de grond. Het vliegtuig ligt tussen Queant en Lagnicourt.
