“Gevechtsverslag: 1155 uur, boven Mercatel, bij Arras. Vickers \u00e9\u00e9nzitter, No. 5986. Rotatiemotor 30372. Inzittende: gevangen genomen, gewond, luitenant Hund. Rond 1145 viel ik met Leutnant Wortmann, op 2.800 meter hoogte en ten zuiden van Arras, een vijandelijk eenzitter Vickers squadron van acht machines aan. Ik koos \u00e9\u00e9n machine uit en na een kort gevecht met bochten vernielde ik de motor van de tegenstander en dwong hem achter onze linies bij Mercatel te landen. De inzittende raakte niet ernstig gewond.
