Tijdens het achtervolgingsvliegen, rond 09.30 uur, viel ik een vijandelijk infanterie- of artillerievliegtuig aan op 600 meter boven de loopgraven. Boven het bos van Pelves liet ik het vijandelijke vliegtuig vallen. De tegenstander was van het begin tot het einde van het gevecht nooit in staat om buiten het bereik van mijn kanonnen te komen.
