Son appareil, un triplan rouge, s\u2019est \u00e9cras\u00e9 sur la route \u00e0 1000 yards au nord de Vaux-sur-Somme. Le baron von Richthoffen, la veille, avait remport\u00e9 sa 80e victoire sur un appareil alli\u00e9.
