\u00ab\u00a0Rapport de combat : 1150 hrs, pr\u00e8s de Lagnicourt Vers 1150 j’ai attaqu\u00e9, accompagn\u00e9 de quatre avions de notre Staffel au-dessus de notre a\u00e9rodrome de Lagnicourt et \u00e0 3.000 m\u00e8tres d’altitude, une escadrille de Vickers. J’ai d\u00e9sign\u00e9 une machine et apr\u00e8s environ 200 tirs, l’avion ennemi a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 descendre en planant vers Cambrai. Enfin, il a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 faire des cercles. Les tirs avaient cess\u00e9 et j’ai vu que l’appareil volait de fa\u00e7on incontr\u00f4l\u00e9e. Comme nous \u00e9tions d\u00e9j\u00e0 assez loin de nos lignes de front, j’ai laiss\u00e9 l’avion d\u00e9sempar\u00e9 et j’ai choisi un nouvel adversaire. Plus tard, j’ai pu observer l’appareil susmentionn\u00e9, poursuivi par un Albatros allemand, s’\u00e9craser au sol pr\u00e8s de Fremicourt. L’appareil a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9duit en cendres.
