Vers 16 h 10, j’ai attaqu\u00e9, avec sept de mes avions, une escadrille ennemie \u00e0 l’ouest de Lens. L’avion que j’avais d\u00e9sign\u00e9 a pris feu apr\u00e8s 150 coups de feu, tir\u00e9s \u00e0 une distance de 50 m\u00e8tres. L’avion est tomb\u00e9 en flammes. L’occupant est tomb\u00e9 de l’avion \u00e0 500 m\u00e8tres de hauteur. Imm\u00e9diatement apr\u00e8s l’\u00e9crasement de l’avion au sol, j’ai vu s’\u00e9lever un \u00e9pais nuage de fum\u00e9e noire. L’avion a br\u00fbl\u00e9 pendant un bon moment, avec de fr\u00e9quents \u00e9clats de flammes.
