Un avion d’un type nouveau, jamais vu auparavant, mais dont les ailes sont bris\u00e9es, \u00e0 peine discernables. Occupant : Lieutenant Todd, tu\u00e9, papiers et objets de valeur joints.<\/p>\n

Vers 16 h 15, au moment du d\u00e9part, nous apercevons au-dessus de nous, \u00e0 4 000 m\u00e8tres d’altitude, quatre plaines non surveill\u00e9es par notre artillerie. Comme les archies ne tiraient pas, nous les avons pris pour les n\u00f4tres. Ce n’est que lorsqu’ils se sont approch\u00e9s que nous avons remarqu\u00e9 qu’ils \u00e9taient anglais. L’un des avions anglais nous a attaqu\u00e9s et nous avons imm\u00e9diatement vu que l’avion ennemi \u00e9tait sup\u00e9rieur au n\u00f4tre. C’est seulement parce que nous \u00e9tions trois contre un que nous avons d\u00e9tect\u00e9 les points faibles de l’ennemi. J’ai r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 me placer derri\u00e8re lui et \u00e0 l’abattre. L’avion s’est bris\u00e9 en tombant.
