\u00ab Rapport de combat : 1730 hrs, entre Bailleul et Gavrelle. BE biplace. Pas de d\u00e9tails car l’avion est tomb\u00e9 de l’autre c\u00f4t\u00e9. Lors d’un vol de poursuite (hauteur des nuages 1.000 m\u00e8tres), j’ai observ\u00e9 un pilote d’artillerie \u00e0 800 m\u00e8tres d’altitude ; je me suis approch\u00e9 de lui sans me faire remarquer et l’ai attaqu\u00e9, apr\u00e8s quoi il est tomb\u00e9 en fumant. Le pilote rattrape l’appareil, mais perd le contr\u00f4le \u00e0 100 m\u00e8tres. L’avion plongea entre Bailleul et Gavrelle. NB Les horloges ont \u00e0 nouveau chang\u00e9 sur le front occidental, l’heure allemande devan\u00e7ant \u00e0 nouveau l’heure alli\u00e9e d’une heure. Cette situation perdurera jusqu’au 9 mars 1918.
