\u00ab Le rapport du commandant sur sa 73e victoire a\u00e9rienne r\u00e9v\u00e8le le drame qui s’est d\u00e9roul\u00e9 devant ses yeux en l’espace d’une minute : \u00bbPeu apr\u00e8s avoir mis le feu \u00e0 mon 72e adversaire, j’ai attaqu\u00e9 \u00e0 nouveau avec les m\u00eames messieurs de l’escadrille, j’ai vu un Bristol Fighter attaquer un de mes messieurs, je me suis assis derri\u00e8re lui et je l’ai incendi\u00e9 \u00e0 50 m\u00e8tres. Je me suis rendu compte qu’il n’y avait qu’un seul occupant. Le si\u00e8ge de l’observateur \u00e9tait ferm\u00e9 et, je suppose, rempli de bombes. J’ai d’abord tu\u00e9 le pilote, l’avion est rest\u00e9 coinc\u00e9 dans l’h\u00e9lice.
