\u00ab\u00a0Richthofen est mort. Tous nos aviateurs seront heureux qu’il soit hors de combat ; mais il n’y en aura pas un en bas qui ne pleurera pas sinc\u00e8rement la mort d’un brave gentilhomme. Il y a quelques jours, un banquet a eu lieu en l’honneur d’un de nos meilleurs aviateurs. Lorsque celui-ci r\u00e9pondit \u00e0 un discours prononc\u00e9 en son honneur, il porta la sant\u00e9 de von Richthofen, \u00e0 laquelle toute l’escadrille se joignit volontiers, honorant ainsi un adversaire respect\u00e9. Les deux excellents aviateurs sont maintenant morts, apr\u00e8s que notre h\u00e9ros de l’aviation eut exprim\u00e9 l’espoir qu’ils puissent tous deux survivre \u00e0 cette guerre pour pouvoir ensuite \u00e9changer leurs exp\u00e9riences. Personne dans le corps d’aviation [Royal Flying Corps] n’aurait \u00e9t\u00e9 heureux de pouvoir tuer Richthofen, mais tout le monde lui aurait serr\u00e9 la main avec joie s’il avait \u00e9t\u00e9 captur\u00e9 vivant.
