Je l’ai \u00e9tudi\u00e9e et j’ai appris que Manfred \u00e9tait l\u00e9g\u00e8rement bless\u00e9 \u00e0 la main. Comme il ne savait pas \u00e9crire lui-m\u00eame, il chargea son gar\u00e7on Menzke de r\u00e9diger un message \u00e0 mon intention, ce que le brave homme fit de mani\u00e8re laconique et sans ornement. – Ce n’est qu’un rapport ult\u00e9rieur, plein d’humour, qui m’a expliqu\u00e9 comment la petite m\u00e9saventure s’\u00e9tait produite. En lan\u00e7ant une bombe avec le lieutenant Zeumer, Manfred gesticulait avec trop d’enthousiasme depuis son si\u00e8ge dans les nuages – il voulait sans doute attirer l’attention de son pilote sur l’impact de la bombe – lorsqu’il s’est fait frapper sur les doigts par l’h\u00e9lice.
