\u00ab\u00a0Il n’y a qu’un seul journal. On peut y lire que nous sommes en \u00e9tat de guerre avec l’Am\u00e9rique. Je prends le journal qui se trouve sur mon lit de camp et je le lis \u00e0 nouveau. Tiens ! La puissance a\u00e9rienne ennemie a entrepris une grande attaque syst\u00e9matique. Mais elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 bien accueillie par nos aviateurs. L’ennemi a perdu quarante-quatre avions… Des escadrilles enti\u00e8res auraient \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9truites. Les lieutenants Voss et Berthold sont mentionn\u00e9s dans le journal comme \u00e9tant victorieux… Mais qu’est-ce que c’est ? – Cinq de nos aviateurs ne sont pas revenus…\u00a0\u00bb.
