Source : BArch RH 2\/2288 (fol. 178) \u00ab\u00a0Apr\u00e8s que le voyage en train du cercueil ait eu lieu \u00e0 partir de Kehl \u00e0 partir du 16 novembre 1925 avec une grande participation de la population, le cercueil arriva le 18 novembre \u00e0 la gare de Potsdam \u00e0 Berlin, y fut accueilli solennellement et transport\u00e9 en voiture avec une autre grande participation \u00e0 l’\u00e9glise de la gr\u00e2ce dans l’Invalidenstrasse o\u00f9 il fut expos\u00e9 pour la population qui passait en grand nombre. Le 20 novembre 1925, l’enterrement eut lieu au cimeti\u00e8re des Invalides. Apr\u00e8s une courte c\u00e9r\u00e9monie dans l’\u00e9glise de la Gr\u00e2ce en pr\u00e9sence du pr\u00e9sident du Reich von Hindenburg, du chancelier du Reich Luther, du ministre de la Reichswehr Dr. Ge\u00dfler, du chef de la direction de l’arm\u00e9e de terre le g\u00e9n\u00e9ral Seeckt et du chef de la direction de la marine l’amiral Zenker, le cort\u00e8ge fun\u00e8bre se rendit \u00e0 pied au cimeti\u00e8re par l’Invalidenstra\u00dfe. La photo montre les membres de la famille dans le cort\u00e8ge fun\u00e9raire apr\u00e8s le cercueil, devant la m\u00e8re de Richthofen, Kunigunde Freifrau von Richthofen, derri\u00e8re elle le plus jeune fr\u00e8re Karl-Bolko, derri\u00e8re la s\u0153ur Ilse.
