\u201eGefechtsbericht: 1730 Uhr, zwischen Bailleul und Gavrelle. BE Doppelsitzer. Keine Einzelheiten, da das Flugzeug auf die andere Seite fiel. Beim Verfolgungsflug (Wolkenh\u00f6he 1.000 m) beobachtete ich einen Artillerieflieger in 800 m H\u00f6he, n\u00e4herte mich ihm unbemerkt und griff ihn an, worauf er rauchend zu Boden fiel. Der Pilot fing die Maschine noch einmal auf, verlor dann aber in 100 Metern H\u00f6he die Kontrolle. Das Flugzeug st\u00fcrzte zwischen Bailleul und Gavrelle in die Tiefe. NB: An der Westfront werden die Uhren erneut umgestellt, und die deutsche Zeit ist der alliierten Zeit erneut um eine Stunde voraus. Dies sollte bis zum 9. M\u00e4rz 1918 so bleiben.
