„Mit 5 Flugzeugen der Jagdstaffel 11 griff ich einige niedrig fliegende englische Einsitzer nord\u00f6stlich Albert an. Ich kam bis auf 50 m hinter einen der Engl\u00e4nder heran und scho\u00df ihn mit wenigen Schu\u00df in Brand. Das brennende Flugzeug st\u00fcrtzte zwischen Contalmaison und Albert ab und brannte auf dem Boden weiter.
